It’s two weeks in now and moving week has just begun. We now know the form teams and players and draft in those players who have proven to be better than their price tag suggested.
Wild card or no wild card?
We think it is too early for a wild card as a lot can change and two weeks doesn’t tell a story. Moving early could make a big difference and really put you ahead in your fantasy football league, but making the wrong decision could prove fatal We are eyeing up game week 4 with the international break to play our card.
Who to captain?
With Liverpool and Tottenham as Arsenal’s next two fixtures we will not be making him captain. If he hadn’t scored two goals we would even consider removing him. Salah is not in prime form which is usual for early season Salah. He is also playing Arsenal who could be strong this season. Sterling and Kane make for much better options with their fixtures and form.
On the watch list:
Pukki – As mentioned last week Pukki has done it again. His price has risen to 6.7m and his price will only rise so he is a good player to invest in. Having said that, he has Man City and Chelsea in the next 3 games so don’t expect immediate rewards. He did score against Liverpool however, so don’t back against him.
McGin – Unfortunately our other pick didn’t perform as we predicted, scoring only 2 points against Bournemouth. It can be hard for midfielders to score point and he has some favourable fixtures approaching including Everton (H), Crystal Palace (A) and West Ham (H) so we will continue to keep an eye on him.
Martial – With eyes on Rashford we think some haven’t taken notice of Martial and it could have easily been more for him last night. Next fixtures are Crystal Palace (H), Southampton (A), Leicester (H) and West Ham (A) which we think presents the opportunity for goals. His price has already risen but only by 0.1m. Now could be the chance to climb aboard to Martial train!
