Wildcard or transfer?
We recommend holding off one more week more to give you one more week to follow developments. We still think anything can happen over three weeks and we have the international break ahead. Players can get injured during the international break too. Use your free transfer this week and hold off on the wildcard.
Who to captain?
Sterling is the most solid choice having scored each week and playing Brighton at home. Salah now has 3 from 3 and has Burnley away. Outside of these two we would genuinely consider Pukki for the first time as he hasn’t let up and West Ham away is possibly his easiest fixture so far. Aubameyang and Kane are other popular options but will face a tough game against each other this week. Avoid if you can.
On the watch list
Pukki – Had him on the watch list from the start. His price is now snowballing and he is a must for your team.
Barnes – Has now scored every game and is reasonably priced. Consider waiting until after the Liverpool or snap him up now if the others on our list don’t quench your thirst. After Liverpool he has a good run of fixtures.
Mount – A young, exciting midfielder who has scored in his last two games. Starting for Chelsea he will always get chances. A 75% fitness assessment is his only drawback this week?
Mcginn – Another who has been on our watch list before and hasn’t let us down this week with an assist. Playing for Villa we would wait another week to see further development but his price is certainly attractive at 5.6m
Ceballos – A bit of an outsider after drawing a blank this week. This was however against Liverpool and this should be considered. He scored points previously and seems to be playing a high standard of football for a good side. Certainly one to watch.
So fantasy managers, are you getting on the Pukki train or are you going for some other transfers? Have we missed any hidden gems? Let us know your thoughts!
