After the relative boredom of the international break, eased momentarily by the effort of Kosovo as there was at least the chance of an upset for some time, The Premier League is back in action. We know many of you will be considering using your wildcard this week so we are going to give you an entire 4-4-2 of players we feel are great value for money:

Pope – 4.6m (Burnley) – Burnley are putting in some sterling performances, and in an already defensive set-up, this top quality keeper is primed to add to his already impressive points tally.

Van Aanholt – 5.6m (CP) – An attacking defender who gets in on the goals and assists. Top points scorer amongst defenders so far and Palace might surprise a few this season.

Boly – 5.0m (Wolves) – Might seem a strange pick, but 16 points isn’t a bad return considering the teams Wolves have played ,and the shear number of fixtures. He scores goals and has been playing well. He is sent off for the next game, but that is against Chelsea and after the international break Wolves are likely to pick up.

Lundstrom – 4.2m (SU) – Simply a very cheap and valuable option. He may sit on the bench some weeks but he offers a real option for a starting place, and Sheffield United, along with Norwich, seem to be adapting to life in The Premier League.

Van Dijk (LIV) – 6.5m Many are avoiding Liverpool defenders, but they have only conceded 3 goals with a sub par keeper. He is still in the top five for point scorers amongst defenders!

Sterling – 12.3m (M City) We didn’t want to list the most expensive players but value is value! Must have player!

Salah – 12.5m (LIV)  Echo the above.

Mount – 6.4m (CHE) Looks a great player and has already been rewarded with an England call up. He will get assists and goals for an attacking Chelsea side.

James – 6.1m(Man U) Has come in for criticism by some United fans, but has been granted an attacking birth and a starting position in one of the leagues top sides. The goals he has scored are the first of many, and at 6.1m he is a bargain.

Abraham – 7.2m (CHE) Not only has he scored 28 points, but they have been predominantly in the last couple of game weeks. Perhaps a surprise starter for Chelsea, hence his low price. Take advantage!

Pukki – 7.0m (NOR) As many points as Sterling and at almost half the price! The stats speak for themselves. Norwich will not give up their attacking philosophy.
