Who to Captain?
Man Utd are looking poor so although we would usually not want to captain a Liverpool player in this fixture we might this week. Salah or Mane both stand out but Mane is in better form.
Last time Man City lost they hit back with a 7-0 thrashing. CPA are the unfortunate opponants this week and we expect Aguero and Sterling (if they should play) to score plenty of points.
It is also hard to overlook the high flying Abraham in this free flowing Chelsea side as they are at home to Newcastle this week.
On the Watch List
Traore – Mid (WOL) – 5.0m We considered this guy for the watch list last week given his more attacking role against Watford (honest we did) but decided against it as we didn’t back Wolves against City. With finishing to add to his insane speed he could score many more this season an is listed as a midfielder. Wolves will also have a period of respite following a stacked and difficult early season fixture list.
Wesley – For (AV) – 6.0m – Hasn’t set the world on fire but with two goals and an assist this week is one to watch.
Boly – Def (Wol) – 5.0m We have tinkered with him before but Wolves’ form and a red card made us doubt our convictions. Two clean sheets in a row included a tremendous clean sheet against City mean he is back on our radar. As with Traore above, he now has some very winnable upcoming fixtures.
Van Aanholt – Def (CPA) – 5.6m – The only thing that keeps him off the get him in list is this price for a Palace defender. However, week after week he proves his value and as the Penalty taker in a form team just might be what your team is missing.
Get Him In
Maddison – Mid (Lei) – 7.1m – Quickly becoming a top player and with goals and assists increasing in regularity along with Leicester’s form get him in now. A top player for a top side and an attacking manager at 7.1m is a snip.
Lundstram – Def (SHU) – 4.5m if you don’t have him in already get him now. Cheap as you like, keeping clean sheets in Sheffield side who aren’t slipping away like Norwich. He is also a goal threat.
We must add that these players could get injured over the international break so you are advised to hold fire for the time being as a precaution. Good luck with the coming game week.
